Dr. Fenig is board certified in both interventional pain management and anesthesiology.
She has extensive experience in interventional pain management. This encompasses epidural steroid injections, facet blocks, sacroiliac joint injections and radiofrequency ablation, peripheral nerve blocks, spinal cord stimulator placement and intravenous ketamine infusions for complex regional pain syndrome, among other specialized techniques. She believes in taking the time to find the appropriate diagnosis and helping patients understand their bodies and pain symptoms.
Dr. Fenig provides up to date pain management techniques, along with a great interest in complementary therapies such as yoga and meditation.
After receiving her medical degree from New Jersey Medical School, she completed residency training in anesthesia at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital of Colombia College of Physicians and Surgeons. This was followed by a fellowship in pain management at the Manhattan Center for Pain Management at the same institution.
She is also a registered New York State Medical Marijuana Provider.
Dr Fenig is fluent in both Spanish and French. She enjoys yoga, travel, cooking and gardening. A native New Yorker, Dr. Fenig lives with her family in Brooklyn.
